Dolphin Tale (2011) is slated to be released on September 23, 2011 in theaters worldwide, under the direction of Charles Martin Smith. The film stars, Harry Connick Jr. As Clay Haskett, Morgan Freeman as Dr. McCarthy, Ashley Judd as Lorraine Nelson, Cozi Zuehlsdorff as Hazel, Nathan Gamble as Sawyer Nelson, and Austin Stowell as Kyle. It is under the distribution of Warner Bros. Pictures, produced by Richard Ingber, Andrew Kosove, Broderick Johnson, and Yolanda T. Cochran.

This movie is a drama and for kids/family, it is inspired by a true story of a dolphin named Winter who was rescued off the Florida coast and taken in by the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. It is about a young boy named Nelson who became friend of a dolphin named Winter, who lost her tail when she caught in a crab trap. She is rescued and then transported to a Clearwater Marine Hospital wherein everybody is willing to help to bring back her missing tail by creating a prosthetic appendage.
